San Ramon Waterfall

Celine's photos - Elisa, Diane, Manrrique and Kristi make the three kilometer climb starting from the Biological Field Station. The rest of us were intimidated by reports of rock slides from the August earthquake. Looks like we missed a spectacular adventure.

Merida-San Ramon Flat Tire

Celina's photos of our flat tire. Either this nice family with the only house around puts out nails so they have some occasional company or this road really is the worst on the island. I vote worst, even it it doesn't look bad just here. In fact it's a beautiful spot for a casa.

Ometepe Laundry Merida

Wes mentioned there didn't seem to be any washing machines in the stores. I said, here they were called women. Have to say, in this hot weather, I would be willing to volunteer to do laundry any day!
